About Dee

Dee is a new independent neighbourhood cafe on Church Road in Barnes, South West London. We're building a place that feels like a second home: warm, unhurried, rooted in good food and the community around it.

Nature plays a quiet role here, from the ingredients on the plate to the plants and light that shape the space. More than 60% of our ingredients come from UK farms, we roast our coffee on site from farms we choose ourselves, and our chef-led kitchen follows the seasons, moving gently towards more plant-forward options over time.

We're not a corporate operation. We're two people, Olessia and Antonio, running something we believe in. We don't preach about sustainability. We just try to do it properly.

Workplace Culture

We're a small team, and everyone's ideas count. If you see something that could work better, we want to hear it, and we want you to run with it. 

We care about warmth, with guests and with each other, and we're honest and direct: we say what we mean and don't promise what we can't back up. 

We run on modern tools, fully cashless with smart systems behind the scenes, so the team spends less time on admin and more time with guests and good food.
