We launched our cricket meat products into food service in Q4 2022, having partnerships with 10 independent restaurant locations by Q1 2023. After gathering interest from major restaurant chains, we have exciting partnerships lined up for 2024 - as well as the launch of our own permanent restaurant location. Our range of bug-based meat alternatives aren’t just good for the planet but are also great for you – made with natural, high-quality protein that has over 50% more protein than Waitrose Beef Mince, but with 15x less CO2 per kg of protein, and a fraction of the land, water, and feed than traditional livestock. Yum Bug Chunks, and Burgers are the only BRC-approved cricket meats in the UK. Our ingredients are super versatile, and can be used in recipes wherever traditional meat is. Our goal is to have cricket-based meat available on menus throughout the UK - including the Yum Bug Restaurant.
