About Wild Things Kitchen & Bakery

Wild Things is a new kitchen, bakery and farm shop at Wendling Beck Nature Recovery Project in Norfolk, led by chef Lola De Mille and baker Richard Snapes. We make naturally leavened bread, pastries, good coffee and seasonal food, drawing on produce from the market garden, British grains and pulses, and the landscape around us. It’s a place to eat, gather and spend time, with the nature recovery project right on our doorstep.

Workplace Culture

We’re building a small, capable team who care about food, people and doing things well. We want Wild Things to feel warm and informal for guests, and supportive and collaborative behind the scenes. Everyone should feel able to contribute ideas, learn from each other and take pride in the details. Our usual service is Wednesday to Sunday, mostly during the day, and we want working here to be enjoyable and sustainable for the team. We are a female led business and a collaboration of chefs, farmers, growers and bakers.
