About Northern Roots

We are creating a cafe and events business in Northern Root's brand-new, purpose-built Welcome Building. Situated next to the large urban farm and orchard, the F&B offer will be built around a farm to fork ethos, with as much produce as possible coming directly from the site. Designed to serve the local community and visitors alike, there will be a focus on seasonality, affordability, and quality to be proud of. The F&B team will work with the wider Northern Roots team to deliver the charity's vision - to create inspirational spaces, moments and opportunities for people to connect around food, growing, nature, learning, creativity, sport, work and play.
