About Fair Shot Cafe

Every year, we offer 15 young adults (aged 16-25) with a learning disability the chance to gain real-life work experience through our hospitality supported internship programme. It's best to think of a supported internship as preparation for the working world. Unlike jumping straight into a job, we provide a forgiving environment where our learners can take the time they need to grow into the confident baristas we know they can be. Following the programme, we work alongside industry partners - like-minded organisations often in the hospitality industry - who are keen to carve jobs out for our graduates. We recognise the work doesn’t stop there. Once we’ve matched our graduates up with industry partners, we keep supporting all parties involved for 6 months to ensure the best chances of success!
