About Barge East

Barge East is a split venue site: A floating restaurant and bar ('Barge East Restaurant') offering a seasonal 4 course menu with different options on weekend lunch services, seasonal cocktails and a fairly small but interesting wine list - all situated on the boat we call De Hoop. We have a land venue we call the 'Barge East Gardens' with two dining areas - including a sensory garden where we grow our own produce both for this venue and the restaurant, two kitchen offerings, two permanent bars and two takeaways bars that are for weekend use. All venues are situated at the T-junction of the canals in Hackney Wick with views of the city, canary wharf and the London stadium.
