Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Countertalk Careers (Countertalk). In using Countertalk you agree to our terms and conditions stated below, if these terms and conditions change and you persist to use this website you have agreed to these changes and or modifications. Countertalk reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

2. Scraping

You may not engage in the harvesting of personal information or email addresses, or 'screen scraping,' 'spidering,' 'database scraping,' or any other automatic means of obtaining content, information or users data Countertalk. You may not use Countertalk in any manner with the intent to damage, interrupt, disable, overburden, or impair the services at any time.

3. Services Provided

Countertalk provides a service to bring Applicants and Employers together. Applicants and Employers can register, create profiles, post career opportunities as well as search for career opportunities and CVs.

All opportunities—including internships—must meet minimum wage requirements and abide by all statutory laws regarding workers' rights including pay, discrimination, working hours, rest breaks at work, daily/weekly rest, holiday entitlement, etc.

4. Website Use

We are committed to promoting healthy work environments. All users of the services provided are required to follow our Code of Conduct, and work within the spirit of fair treatment, mutual respect, and equal opportunity. Users who don't may have their accounts cancelled.

Countertalk may not be used for any of the following purposes:

a. To contact Countertalk users regarding any issue apart from the purpose of recruitment

b. To contact Countertalk users to offer any services from a 3rd party company.

c. To post any illegal content

d. The user is required to provide truthful information in their profile or job post.

e. It is prohibited to use any text or images from Countertalk for personal or commercial use.

5. Privacy

We do our very best to protect your privacy by using security technology appropriately. If you want to know how we achieve that please read our privacy policy.

6. Offensive Content

Through the use of the services provided by Countertalk, you agree that you will not upload or post any content that may be deemed to be defamatory, degrading, or otherwise unlawful, or that may constitute an infringement of any copyright or other proprietary right.

7. User Information

Countertalk does not hold responsibility for any untruthful and/or inaccurate information included in job posts and profiles. Countertalk reserves the right to edit or delete any information submitted by the user to the website.

8. Personal Data

Information about you is gathered and stored to identify you and for administration, communication, enforcement and access control purposes.

You irrevocably and unconditionally consent to the collection and processing by us of personal information provided to us in accordance with our privacy policy, including for administration, communication, enforcement and access control purposes and as otherwise set out in our privacy policy. You have a right of access to and to correct your personal information by written request via email.

We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the safety and security of any personal information you provide to us. However, except as set out in law, we shall not be responsible for any loss, theft or accidental destruction of any personal information provided to us or any financial loss or other damage which may result directly or indirectly therefrom.

These Terms and Conditions, your use of the website and any related dispute or claim (contractual or non-contractual) shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, English law and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We reserve the right to bring any action(s) in any other court(s) of competent jurisdiction.
