Sous chef in a kitchen of 4 chefs per service.
Run the kitchen when the chef is away
Assist in writing the menu and ordering
Helping to train the other chefs
Implementation of standard operating procedures
Delivery of high-quality food at all times
Aiding with the financial control in terms of food GPs
Second in command to a 4 person kitchen team
All Health/Food safety procedures
Experience at running a kitchen at a sous chef level
Able to run a service when the chef is away.
Ability to train and nurture staff.
Good meat and fish butchery skills.
Varied experience in writing menus and ordering
