Rose Bakery is a small busy restaurant located on the third floor of the prestigious Dover Street Market.
We believe that the best food is made fresh, from-scratch and with care, creativity and attention to detail. Our daily-changing menu is inspired by organic seasonal produce and is the product of team collaboration and a shared interest in the from-scratch movement.
We make everything in-house, including but not limited to butter, pastas, yoghurt, soft cheeses and sourdough breads, and everyone at Rose Bakery has an input in expanding our ability to cook in this style.
a chef at Rose bakery supports the head chef in bringing to life the daily changing menu. You will be expected to help with all aspects of the menu, be a keen learner and show an active interest in broadening your skills.
you will be assisting the head chef and sous chef daily to produce enough food for daily service. during service your main responsibility will be to prep ahead for the next day's service. you will be expected to be a quick learner, remember dishes and be able to adapt recipes and improve upon them.
someone passionate about seasonal organic produce, who wants to learn and shows an active interest in broadening their skills. being adaptable and intuitive will be an added bonus.
at least 6 month's experience in a restaurant kitchen. interest in baking, especially sourdough, and experience in italian cuisine will be an added bonus.
DAYTIME HOURS, 8.30am-17;30pm.
