DINNER LADIES is a dynamic South West London-based catering company offering seasonal food that is delicious and different. As a sous chef you are responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food. Working alongside the head chef you will manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. You will provide meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes as well as assisting the head chef in menu design and recipe testing.
You will gain experience in the kitchen, at events, catering on site for fashion/film shoots, corporate catering, private parties, supper clubs and assist in the general day-to-day tasks of running a food and events business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and hard-working full time sous chef to join our young and growing company. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for different flavours and global cuisine as well as an active interest in food trends and the London restaurant scene. They would also have some experience in menu design from new ingredients to costing each item, food and equipment. They will be confident, patient, sociable, friendly, reliable and self-motivated.
Formal culinary training (ideally), 2 years previous catering experience, extensive food and beverage knowledge, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, creative problem-solving skills. HACCP training & hygiene certificate Level 2. Full driving license.
