About us

Salon is a restaurant in Brixton that serves creative, seasonally-led food in a relaxed and informal setting. We opened in late 2012 and have steadily gained a reputation for serving some of the most exciting food in South London and have become a beacon for good food in the area, and beyond.

We have a loyal band of regulars, strong recognition from our peers in the industry, and continue to receive praise from the press, critics, bloggers and social media alike.

At Salon, we put a heavy emphasis on sustainability in our restaurant, from the fish we source to the wine we serve. We focus heavily on using local British produce, showcasing what our great farmers have to offer. We also believe in using all parts of not only the animal, but also vegetables. Our wine list is heavily weighted to natural and biodynamic winemakers who share our ethos of creating amazing products with low intervention.
