Legare is a new opening situated on Shad Thames, just off tower bridge. We are a small 35 cover restaurant cooking broadly Italian food with a passion for flavour, using the best quality seasonal ingredients and a heavy focus on vegetables, seafood and fresh pasta. The menu will flow with the seasons as well as daily specials and sharing options in keeping with the traditional Italian way of eating.
We will source all our ingredients carefully and responsibly and work closely with our suppliers ensuring our produce is as ethically sound as possible.

We are looking for chefs with some experience in restaurants, but first and foremost someone who is driven, passionate about our food and willing to learn and grow with the business.
You will be working approximately 50 hours a week as part of a small team, reporting to the head chef and sous chef.
Responsibilities will include daily MEP assisting on all sections of the kitchen and good organisation of your section.
Ensuring a thorough set up and close down of your section is adhered to.
Minimising wastage, we hate wastage!
Building a good knowledge of all our produce and dishes in terms of provenance, ethics and seasonality
Input on the menu and creativity will be actively encouraged
We are looking for someone with a great passion for food and high quality ingredients, shares our views on ethically sourced produce and a willingness to learn and progress within the team. Some experience is preferred but a good attitude and work ethic are essential! We want someone who loves what they do and wants to get as much out of the job as they put in. Attention to detail, and a passion for great produce are qualities we look for in all of our team members, and within our kitchen team, you can expect to learn how to make numerous fresh pasta doughs / shapes / sauces and different cooking methods.

Understand the pace of a busy restaurant and able to organise themselves accordingly
A good level of food hygiene is expected (level 2 ideally but training will be provided)
