About us

Legare is a new opening situated on Shad Thames, just off tower bridge.  We are a small 35 cover restaurant cooking broadly Italian food with a passion for flavour, using the best quality seasonal ingredients and a heavy focus on vegetables, seafood and fresh pasta.  The menu will flow with the seasons as well as daily specials and sharing options in keeping with the traditional Italian way of eating.

Role description

Assist in all operational aspects of the restaurant


Maintain operations by preparing company policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and implementing system improvements.

 Maintain customer satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with regular customers.

 Interact with customers to ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled promptly.

 Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership for new and different initiatives; exploring opportunities to add value to the business.


Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have PR/media experience as well, but this is not essential.

Be able to numerically represent increase in profits, decrease in waste, increase in employee retention, or other key performance indicators under your management in previous positions.



Desired experience/skills

● Food and beverage management

● Staff recruitment, management, and development

● Managing inventory, cost control, purchasing

● Health and safety rules and regulations

● Administrative procedures

● Managing relationships with external service providers e.g. lawyers, accountants

Self-discipline, initiative, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, planning and organising, customer service, financial acumen, leadership, teamwork, sales flair, time management.
