Wild by Tart is a concept restaurant from Lucy Carr-Ellison and Jemima Jones of Tart–London, that offers a unique dining experience with 100-cover restaurant, event space, deli, retail offering and photography studio. Inspired by Lucy and Jemima’s travels and their love of sharing plates, menus will be fresh, simple and flavoursome.
We are currently looking for an experienced Head Pastry Chef to work alongside the owners and our Head Chef and build the team for a late 2019 opening. We’re looking for someone who is as passionate as us about great food, ingredients and working as a team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is hands on, creative and organised.
To run the pastry section of the kitchen while working with the Head Chef, Senior Sous and Owners. To deliver creative and exciting dishes, including signature bread and dough, that work across all areas and ensure consistency and quality are maintained.
Work with the Head Chef in recruiting, training and leading the pastry team, while managing and understanding production and maintenance of par stocks of pastry and dessert, recipe management and food cost control.
Create a strong relationship with the front of house team to ensure they remain informed and excited about the menu.
Maintain a safe, hygienic and compliant working environment and adhering to all health and safety and team welfare standards.
