About us

*NEW SITE*

We are looking for a Head Chef to work with us to create a modern
menu inspired by the simple perfection of seasonal, top quality food, framed
by the demands and desires of an all day dining audience in London.

The menu will be a continuation of what we currently do at Neal’s Yard, focusing on a few simple but very delicious dishes. Our aim is to create a modern neighbourhood restaurant.

Role description

We’re looking for a Head Chef who is proactive and innovative, who will manage the kitchen to ensure every dish that goes out is of the highest quality. Our new Head Chef will be passionate about working with fresh, seasonal produce and will continually change our menus. The role will involve all aspects of running a kitchen, from leading and developing the kitchen team, building and growing relationships with local suppliers and producers, to having an understanding of food costings, profit and wastage margins.

It would be the perfect role for someone in a senior position looking to take ownership of a menu in a super location or looking to make the step up from a senior CDP or Sous Chef position to taking overall responsibility for a kitchen. The smaller scale of the operation means the role will touch on all aspects of running the business, such as developing the team, building revenue, health & safety and financial control.
