We're a dynamic, intimate and award-winning group who need a new storyteller.
In short, The Palomar opened five years ago in London's Soho and was named Restaurant of The Year 2015 by Tatler, GQ and The Observer Food Monthly. The Barbary opened shortly after in Neal's Yard, and has been TimeOut London's Number One Restaurant for both 2018 and 2019. In the last two years we have grown again opening our little coffeehouse, Jacob the Angel, and and our grand Georgian pub The Blue Posts on Rupert Street.
We're proud of what we have achieved in a short time; we need you to help us tell everyone else about who we are and to join our journey. So, apply now to be our next Communications Assistant!
As our Communications Assistant, you support the duties of the Communications Manager and will develop an intimate understanding what makes us exceptional; you are one of the front line ambassadors of everything that we do.
You will aid in the implementation of the communications strategy assembled by the Communications Manager and Creative Director and you are to increase the reach and impact of our venues’ profiles through delivery of influential marketing (with a focus on Social Media and Events) by means of effective use of the internal resources available and working closely with onsite management teams.
With a finger on the pulse of the London restaurant and hospitality scene you think proactively, perceptively and analytically about how to develop our brand to remain competitive to both the public and wider industry. To achieve this, you use your skills in photography, social media, research, organisation and administration to complement a warm, hardworking and hands-on approach; and beyond this, you use your imagination and creative ability to put forward your own ideas to how we can improve.
